He Wanders Around
By Jenny Peters
Exclusive to the Port Alexander Times

They say bad things come in threes, but so do heroes apparently. First there was Fervor, then the White Knight, and now The Wanderer. The Who? you say. No, that's a rock band. The Wanderer. But who is he and why haven't I heard about him? you ask. That's what I'm here for.

The Wanderer was present when the off-shore platform exploded (see related story), and that was where he met the White Knight and Fervor. All three heroes are reticent about exactly what happened out there, but that's a different story.

I asked the Wanderer about himself, and was surprised to hear that he claims to be an alien from Outer Space. Saying that his race is adapted to conditions in space, he spoke of "he ability to travel at an accelerated pace due to the shifting of dimensional plane." This reporter has seen him vanish from one spot and reappear instantly at another, which must be a handy talent for interstellar travel.

This Intergalactic Romeo told me that although he is "compatible" with humans he is playing the star-field and has no steady spacewoman-friend. If his actions during the interview are any guideline, gravitational attraction is not the only kind you find in space.

The Wanderer may not have made a name for himself yet in Port Alexander, but I expect we'll hear more from him as time goes by.
