Aftershock

Status: Missing, presumed dead
First Appearance: In Flashback in Issue 29

The world thinks Aftershock is dead, though no body was found. In fact, he is active with a new identity as Sting.


Baba Yaga

Group Affiliation: Formerly of The Peacekeepers
Status: Missing
Known Powers: Spellcasting for various magical effects.

Reappeared in Issue 32 as the Queen of the Floating Island.


Big Ben

Group Affiliation: The Peacekeepers
Status: Deceased, murdered 1-4-02
First Appearance: In Flashback in Issue 29
Known Powers: Growth and Superstrength
Black Watch

First Appearance: None
Known Powers: Fast, strong and agile. Has a short range electrical attack.

Female member of the Round Table, the British supergroup headed by Dux Brittanicus. Nicknamed "The Hammer of the Scots."


Boudiccea

First Appearance: Issue 25
Known Powers: Bears a round shield and spear, and is expert in the use of both. Able to grow to a maximum of eight meters of height, with her weapons growing as well.

Female member of the Round Table, the British supergroup headed by Dux Brittanicus.


Core
First Appearance: Issue 1
Known Powers: Very large, stony skin, superstrength, uses a mace

Little is know about Core, a self proclaimed "Guardian of the planet." Core vanished into the depths of IPAC at the end of Issue #1.


Dux Brittanicus
First Appearance: As Sir David of Brenlake: Issue 24, as Dux Brittanicus: Issue 25
Known Powers: Armoured, superstrong, uses a sword. Immortal or very long-lived.

The Protectors encountered David of Brenlake in the past and were stunned to realize he had lived his way forward more than a thousand years, becoming Dux Brittanicus along the way.


Fervor

First Appearance: Issue 1
Known Powers: Heat Rays fired from his hands

Port Alexander's hottest hero, Fervor is fairly new to the crime-fighting scene. His odd charcoal-like skin can put people off at first, but there is no denying the effectiveness of his heat rays.


Fliedermaus

Group Affiliation: The Peacekeepers
Status: Deceased

Known Powers: Flight, Sonar
Generation X

First Appearance: None
Known Powers: Accomplished brawler, strong and tough. Can stretch arms to attack at a distance and likes looping roundhouses. Can also stretch neck for long-range headbutt.

Male member of the Round Table, the British supergroup headed by Dux Brittanicus. The Punk Rock Powerhouse.


Glory

aka IPAC Agent Yvonne Blessing
First Appearance: Issue 1
Known Powers: An accomplished acrobat, Glory fights with a quarterstaff.
In Issue 5, Yvonne Blessing became the Iron Maiden and gave up the Glory identity.
HOLMES

First Appearance: None
Known Powers: A variety of enhanced senses and what is effectively a computer brain. His initial programming included martial arts training and gymnastics. Macawber armed him with a sonic blaster tuned to the HOLES molecular structure, but which HOLMES has modified to be effective against a broader range of targets. Wears an armoured suit.

Humanoid Organic Life, Mental Enhancement Series, aka HOLMES, is a complex artificial life form, designed by the late genius Aleister Macawber. HOLMES was desgined to track down and earlier Humanoid Organic Life, Experimental Series (HOLES) that Macawber had designed, but which were defective and had been terrorizing Europe.

HOLMES proved successful and tracked down and destroyed the HOLES, but in the final battle Macawber was destroyed. HOLMES had finished his preprogrammed duty, but was still alive. Free to choose his destiny, he joined the Round Table, where he is the resident detective.


Iron Maiden

First Appearance:As Glory, Issue 1
First Appearance:As Iron Maiden, Interlude 5.1
Known Powers: After being exposed to a high concentration of sigma rays, Blessing developed a specialized sigma charged psuedo-musculature resulting in a high level of effective SuperStrength. In order to contain her sigma ray discharge, she wears Blockbuster's captured armour modified to insulate against sigma rays. Iron Maiden removed her armour to defeat a herd of giant amoeba in Issue #11, and went into a coma.
Jade Tiger

Group Affiliation: The Peacekeepers
Status: Deceased, murdered 1-2-02
First Appearance: In Flashback in Issue 29
Known Powers: Martial Arts, Agility
Legionnaire

Group Affiliation: The Peacekeepers
Status: one of his forms is dead, the other two are remerged and insane
First Appearance: In Flashback in Issue 29
Known Powers: Fought with a staff, replication.
Nightshade
First Appearance: Issue 1
Known Powers: Some skill as a hand to hand combatant.

Little is known of this hero. He appeared at the confrontation at Proust Aerospace and has never been seen again. No one is sure what other powers he might have had, and he was not forthcoming.


Scirocco

Status: Deceased

Known Powers: Wind control for flight, attack, etc.
Shockwave
aka Michael Morgan Henry II
aka Mike Henry
First Appearance: Interlude 8.1
Known Powers: Electrical Blasts, Clinging of some kind, Superhuman Toughness

A "people's hero," Shockwave lives in the ghetto section of Port Alexander called the Ramparts, or just the 'Parts. He manages to make ends meet serving as a private investigator/troubleshooter for the people in the neighborhood. In Issue 12 he was badly beaten and has never fully recovered.


Triton
First Appearance: Issue 15
Known Powers: Some control of the weather, can make a triton appear. Little is known of the mysterious Triton. He seems oddly unfamiliar with American and, indeed, human customs, leading some to speculate that he is an alien like the Wanderer and Ka-Sador.


Tsunami

Group Affiliation: The Peacekeepers
Status: Deceased
First Appearance: In Flashback in Issue 29
Known Powers: Could turn parts of his body, or his entire body, into water.
The White Knight

First Appearance: Issue 1
Known Powers: Armoured Battlesuit, Superstrength

As Port Alexander's gallant protector, this armoured hero first made his mark smashing a large drug smuggling ring. Since then, he has appeared several times and put various small time criminals to rout.

He is a courteous and polite hero, and tries to exemplify all that is good and right -- as the Arthurian knights of legend once did.

IPAC Files Note:
The armor, designed by the White Knight himself, provides enhanced strength and is gyroscopically stabilised to provide enhanced agility. It is further protected by a small electro-static forcefield, and provides complete protection from high temperature environments.
