There's a new face in town, the soot-blackened visage of Fervor. The hero was on the scene at Proust Aerospace when it was attacked by the supervillains known as the Fire Team, and afterwards he was available for comment
Over hot chocolate with a dash of cinnamon, Fervor answered questions about himself and his plans. "My abilities are pretty simple really," he said. "I can generate heat. Lot's of it." This claim was backed up by the condition of one of the villain's equipment after Fervor had been there: the metal jetpack was melted slag.
When he asked about his motives, why he took to the streets to fight crime, he replied, "I would like to say it is because with great power comes great responsibility but that wouldn't be completely honest. Don't get me wrong, I want to do the right thing but I don't see this as a sacred duty. I enjoy it. It's a way to help people and let off steam after a hard day's work. In some ways it's my version of aerobics. I don't want to sound like I don't take this seriously because I do but I do not let it take over my life. I have to work a full time job to pay the rent like everyone else. Besides that I try to do the hero thing and have a social life. There are only so many hours in the day so sleeping is something I don't see enough of."
Questions about relationships were also answered frankly, if generally. "All this means that I don't have the time to commit to a steady relationship. Something that's hard to accomplish anyway when you have to brake 2 out of 3 dates to 'work' late."
At the end of the battle at Proust Aerospace, a cadre of men appeared on the scene. Fervor was unable to provide much detail about them, but stated that they were with the government, and that they have custody of the villains.
Fervor was quick to praise the work of the White Knight, as well as that of the mysterious woman, Glory.
